It is never a bad idea to actually work with someone to help you to learn how to get better and to help you to improve your game as a bowler. In many of the alleys or at the pro shops there will be people who are looking for a side job or are willing to take the time to try and mentor you so as to allow you to become a better bowler. Do not be afraid to ask questions or to talk to other players to be able to find the best way to do something or what type of approach they take to the game.

However, once you learn the intricacies of this you should be willing to pass your knowledge on to the new players as well. So as the saying goes take the time to pay it forward and be willing to share what you learn as opposed to keeping everything to yourself.
